"That's as wonderful goal to aim for, Galahad. I'm sure your father also appreciates you doing that for him." She couldn't help but smile at him because she honestly thought it was great what he was doing.
"I'm sure he feels that way... Thank you, My Lady." He would almost certainly never know for sure by words alone. "I've only ever wanted to be a Knight, but my swordsmanship is nothing like my fathers." He could scarcely defend himself in a hand-to-hand combat situation. But he didn't know how else to live his life.
"I'm sure you'll do your best in the end, Galahad. As long as you believe in yourself and keep looking forward." She was doing her best to give him confidence, especially since she could tell he needed it.
He gave a nod, but didn't say much else on the matter.
The two passed through the guards at the gates and their view opened up to the Lower Town of Camelot. All the houses were low single-story shacks so the Castle near the back of the city was clearly visible. There were many people wandering through the street in the lower market, chattering over their wares as they bartered over the latest deals.
"Welcome to the city, Lady Maria. This is Camelot's lower town."
She followed her companion happily and watched the scenes going on around her with a bright smile. This was even better than she thought it would be, everyone seemed so lively and it looked a lot of fun.
"Wow everyone is so lively around here and the food looks amazing." Her stomach starting rumbling a little when she mentions food. "Oh. I think I might need some food before I start drooling over the merchant's wares."
"We can look to see if there is anything available in the castle kitchen, if it's to your liking."
Galahad continued, though he tried as he could to ignore the glances in their direction.. it was hard to ignore. So few humans ever visited the kingdom and she was wearing such strange clothes that the girl stuck out like a sore thumb.
"Could we? That would be nice, thank you so much." Maria does see the glances of the other people around them and wonders if it has something to do with her, she even looks down at herself before looking at everyone else with a faint blush.

He chose..not to mention what she was wearing.
